Macklin Law is a boutique law firm specializing in home improvement, construction, and real estate. Heather Macklin, founder, has over 25 years of experience representing clients of all sizes, from start-ups to public companies.  She has deep knowledge of home improvement and construction law issues, including TCPA compliance, trademark and copyright law, customer disputes, and employment law.  Some of her major clients have included Tundraland, Window Solutions, Inc. d/b/a Renewal by Andersen of Greater Wisconsin and Keller, Inc.

In 2022, she left a major AM Law 200 firm to focus on providing personalized service to select clients.

In 2023 her husband Rob Macklin joined.  Rob also has 25 years of experience representing companies of all sizes in capital formation and mergers and acquisitions, but recently has focused on the home improvement space, in particular selling major home improvement brands such as Tundraland, Minnesota Rusco and Woodbridge Home Solutions to private equity buyers.

Together, they form one of the most experienced home improvement legal teams in the industry.
